The Imax maximum discharge current is 50kA .The In nominal discharge current is 35kA. The Type 1 surge arrester is recommended for electrical installations in the service sector and industrial buildings protected by a lightning conductor. It is used to conduct the direct lightning current, propagating from the earth conductor to the network conductors. The surge arresters with “r” indication have remote transfer of the information “Cartridge to be replaced”.
